Financial success is a choice! I am convinced that people would often make significantly different choices if they truly understood the consequences of the decisions they make.
One of the key decisions that will substantially increase a person's chance of attaining their financial goals is to have a well-developed financial plan. Most people with enough desire, training and experience can do this for themselves, and yet for a variety of reasons most people will not. They want the results, but look to a trusted advisor for the actual planning and implementation of the recommendations.
A good, workable financial plan is a document that has clearly identified your goals, and provides a roadmap that shows you where you are today, and in what direction and at what speed you must go, to achieve your personal goals at various times in your future.
